Ruth has worked in a hospital setting to rehabilitate patients after falls and neurological conditions such as stroke, multiple sclerosis and Parkinson’s. With a significant rugby background, Ruth provides physical therapy and pitch-side first aid for Garnock RFC and has worked in Wales with the professional rugby side, Dragons RFC, where she developed her skills to align with their high standard. In addition to working with sports injuries Ruth specialises in neurological rehabilitation of various conditions including stroke, multiple sclerosis and Parkinsons. With previous experience in an acute stroke ward, Ruth can help you regain as much function and mobility as possible to retrain your body from stroke, allowing you to return to activities that you enjoy.

Vanesa has just completed her Masters in Physiotherapy at Glasgow Caledonian University. Prior to this, she had completed her undergraduate in Kinesiology at York University. Vanesa has worked in an outpatient clinical setting for 4 years as a physiotherapy assistant in Canada and has had over 5 years of experience progressing patient exercise programs in both Canada and Scotland.

She has had placement experience working with a variety of neurological conditions ranging from post-stroke patients, MS, and Parkinson’s. Additionally, she also had placement experience working with patients in both the acute hospital setting and outpatient clinics, with lots of experience working with geriatric patients.
